"Goa" is the key word here. Its a refreshing twist on the standard Indian fare with a seafood focus. The Vindaloo is awesome; it is a Goanese dish after all! Samosas are some of the best around. Flavours are strong in every dish; you can tell a lot of real spice is used. I haven't had anything I disliked here. Gulab Jamun for desert is worth a shot, although the rose flavouring isn't my personal preference.
The casual staff are usually slick and in numbers, but unfortunately the management can be brash. They seemed to take issue with the presence of a well-behaved 1 year old which was disappointing. Lets attribute it to the stress of a busy night....
Nice vibe, always busy, and I'll still be going back. Recommended (just not for the fam!).
Absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing and the service was relaxed but yet right on top of their game. I had the lemon ginger chicken and it was mouth watering good, and for desert the carrot and ice cream was simply a new taste sensation. I would highly recommend to all.
The food at Road to Goa is fabulous, I have taken several groups there and each time we have been very happy. Reasonable cost, and the banquet is very good too. Particularly recommend the pistachio chicken for main, and the coconut chicken entree. Staff can be a little stand offish at times, but in general, a nice night out.
