Roberto's Ristorante Pizzeria

Had a family dinner here a number of months ago, the service was prompt and food was eatable. The servings were reasonable. I do agree with a number of the others reviewers that it may not be noticeable driving down bridge road in looking for a place to dine.

Service was ordinary, they really couldn't care less. The calamari had zero flavour, was the texture of a boot and we had to dip that into a very sub par sauce. This was a dream compared to the main. The worst cannelloni ever! Thick, mushy, overcooked pasta covered in worse than bottled tomato topping, hiding a really bad filling of spinach and ricotta. I have never tasted worse. I took a bite, scraped off the tomato, tried another 2 bites, peeled back the pasta and then gave up after one bite of lone filling. I returned an entire plate of food, the wait staff said nothing and wouldn't even remove it for ages even after I told staff it was terrible, The pizza staff continue reading news paper and showed no interest in the entire plate of food returned. I was offered no apology or any other food. Will never return and will tell everyone I know just how bad the experience was to save them from making the same mistake.

My wife and myself used our voucher for dinner.

The staff a little unfriendly.

We told them we were using our voucher they then returned with a description of what we can have . Mains desert and a glass of wine , only the one desert was to be shared between us so we didnt bother with desert.

We found our mains tasteless .

Then my wife had a glass of wine , I decided to have a beer .

So they charged me for the beer although a glass of wine was included , thought they could have substuted.

We had a garlic bread for entree and as we declined desert , thought they may have swapped the entree for desert , but they didnt .

I thought they would have gone out of their way to promote their restaraunt with the voucher but found the opposite.
