Rob's Car Detailing

I am not surprised about the review of ddmyte and his review aobut his white Golf. In March of this year Rob polish my Expanda caravan and took the coating clean off the fibreglass. He blamed me that the condition was already like that. You would think if there was a problem with the polishing that he would speak to you about it before destroying it further. There was no issue with the finish as this van had a special coating to protect the paintwork. All that was required was a polish and now the paintwork is wrecked. He will not refund my $'s either. Inexperienced and not professional at all.

On 14th July 2021 Rob charged $350 for the 1hr 45 mins he took to scratch my white Golf R's bodywork all over. I queried the time and price when he said he'd finished but he wasn't interested. I was so shocked at his attitude I paid and let him go without checking the atrocious work he did on my car. I brought this to Rob's attention via his website contact page and he blamed the result on "poor light" but agreed it needed to be rectified. At no time did he apologise for wasting my time and was generally unprofessional in his dealings with me. I knew the damage he did to my car would require another cut and detail but he still insisted he could "polish it out". I visited 2 paint shops (as they didn't do detailing I thought I'd get an un-biased opinion) and one detailer to get their opinion on the work carried out.
