OMG run. Half a star is too much. They are scammers targeting toursit. I got caught up in the excitment of buy my first opal on vacation and I didn't check the reviews prior. Google and Yelp have lots of customers reporting their negative experience with them.
They directed me away from their triplets because they said they were poor quality and directed me to their best solid opals. haha - They sold me triplet and not what was written on the receipt. - a sold black opal. They claimed the price was $2,000 and were giving me at a great discount at $750.00 only to find out the ring is a triplet opal with 1mm of opal (not even a black a opal) glued between a piece of glass and a rock. They will not respond to emails, text or answer the phone.
Not only do I have a bad taste for buying jewlery on vacation but Melbourne and the opal industry. Please report them to the ACCC if you have been scammed!
