I wish I had seen this page when I moved to Sydney 4 years ago.. not knowing the areas I purchased a 4 yr old BMW from these merchants for circa 40K - within a month the engine seized & needed a replacement.. surprise surprise they wouldnt honour their warranty saying I had stuffed the engine somehow & my fault.. Tried letters of demand & negotiating with them & even taking them to CTT tribunal which all took around 6 months all with my car rendered useless & still no result. In the end I had to fork out another 9k for a new engine and still have a sour taste in my mouth from them. Stay as far away as possible from them!

Never buy through these guys. My car needed towing and thousands of dollars of work on the very 1st time I took it for a drive after purchase. They wanted nothing to do with it unless we gave them thousands more on top of what we had paid to purchase the car. To add insult to injury, my uncle who has been a top Master Mechanic for over 25 years accompanied the car back to them after towing and not knowing his occupation they spent the next 20 mins spinning excuses and looked affronted when he pulled them up on it and told them what he did for a living. Very bad service.

We bought a Saab from this dealer and within 2 weeks it had a number of major faults. When we picked the car up the service history had gone missing and the remote key was broken. The car continues to develop faults and they ignore phone calls and emails. We were told differently when we looked at the car and are now $4188 out of pocket. We would not recommend this dealer and warn other buyers to stay well clear of rockdale autotraders.

As you can imagine as a first car buyer i have been researching tirelessly in regards to the better cars in the market and most importantly, what to look out for before buying a car. After I've decided on the car advertised by these guys i did a VIN check and studied on basic inspection. Naturally these guys thought i knew nothing so they jacked up the price up to $1000 ($6,999) more on the car that i was looking into! What i was suspicious about was how worn the steering wheel and the clutch was to even have an odometer reading of 80,000km. So while the salesman wasn't looking i snuck into the office and spoke to the saleswoman. She told me the original price which, was $5,999. When the salesman walked in he kept a close watch and acted like he didn't know about the original price. I told him about the basic faults and he said it hasn't been detailed yet. Do not purchase from here. Recently purchased a car for $2500 from here, and within a week car showed signs of problems. pathetic how also they dont write up the price before you set to buy, you are locked in before you know it. also you cant even get a good look at the vehicle before hand.
