Thought i would post up a review here as i am a regular to this medical centre. i have been coming here for many years and i have never encountered what some of the reviewers below have mentioned. All the receptionists that have worked here so far and are still working here have always been very professional and personable they remember everyone and can be very conversational if you have been a few times. I have also seen the two doctors that work here and they have both been very good a treating me. There are some surgeries where u have to sit and wait for hours however the best thing about this place is that the waiting time is never longer than 10-15 mins.sometimes its 5 mins. The only thing i wish is that they stayed open a little longer after business hours as it is hard to get there when you work 9-5 outside of the area.

The doctors in this medical centre are good and some are very good. However the reception staff is very rude.. I have been going to this place for a few years now and have rarely been served politely.
They are either moody or gives the wrong information or rarely acknowledges you are there.
For example I walked in today and the receptionist was typing something while chewing some gum. Rarely acknowledged me and said to wait. Took the time typing what ever they were typing and slowly walked around inside the reception area before sieving me. Hardly looked at me when taking my details.
This is just one. U have many which I have encountered at this place. I still prefer to go since the doctors are good.

Thank you for your feedback, however the reception staff have been working at the centre for the past 7 years & do not chew gum & do not ignore the patients. In fact they treat their patients like family as you mentioned, you have seen these doctors for many years & are happy with their service. Perhaps the reception was busy answering the phone or updating details on the system. There could be various reasons but in future please advise the doctor your feedback rather than placing it on review & still attending the centre. Thank you.

The reception staff must be aware if when doctor is coming or at least convey the right information to the patient waiting .minimum customer service are typically rare in this medical centre.

Today morning at 8:45 am I went to see a doctor @ the medical centre.the staff in the reception told me that the doctor would come at 9:30.i waited till 9:35 am and I heard someone mentioning something about the doctor.then ,with dubiously I asked the reception staff if the doctor is coming .the staff very rudely said the doctor will be here around 10 or 10:30 am! Thank you for your feedback. Did you ever think for a second that a medical emergency may have occured that morning or even a family emergency which needed to be dealt with? With all do respect, we care for our patients but we are only human aswell. The doctors are liable for treating patients asap if there was a medical emergency. Due to the privacy laws, the receptionist was unse to disclose any information & therefore she was unable to confirm when the doctor would arrive. Im sure if you were seeking urgent medical attention, you would expect to recieve this asap.

I could not believe what I heard today about this Rockdale so called MEDICAL clinic.

My man was suffering pain and not able to sleep because of it so went to see a doctor. The first doctor told him she wasn't QUALIFIED to prescribe pain relief medication so he went to another doctor who said the pain relief was addictive and so he would not prescribe it, which sounds ethically praiseworthy. However, this was the limit of their doctoring. He refused to look at the surgical wound to give a reason why it caused pain and gave absolutely no alternative to assist with pain management. Yet he expected to be paid for a medical service. How can this be called doctoring.
