North Sydney, NSW, 2060
Great to see that this place is still producing yummy Japanese delicacies after many years here, and doing a great job of it despite the fact that Miller Street is currently busy with demolition and rebuilding... the smiles, sushi rolls and hot dishes keep flowing. There's no outdoor seating, but that's ok, no extra to sit inside and you can purchase as take away. Always my happy place.
Came here again as I was seeing delicious sushi being brought into the office by my colleagues. Their takeaway sushi is great! Delicious, fresh and great value... I had 3 sushi rolls for $5! You take what you want from a refrigerator near the window at the entrance of the restaurant. The staff at the front counter where you pay are friendly and fast. Will definitely come again when I want a quick, healthy takeaway lunch!

So I ordered one, and it took a few minutes for them to return my dish with a raw egg in it... The food was a little tasteless and I have definitely had better. I hope this place improves and given it has only been open a few weeks I know it's often just a matter of smoothing out the ins and outs of a new restaurant.
The recent opening of Rokojuni at North Sydney finally gives this suburb a fresh take of the Japanese cuisine offerings in the area. There are a lot of food-court-style Japanese restaurants and I can recall one high-end Japanese BBQ restaurant, but Rokojuni steps up in the middle and allows you to have that little-bit-fancy lunch without breaking your bank during your lunch break (no pun ...read more
