Rooty Hill RSL

My husband and I had dinner at Rooty Hill RSL last night at Zest Grill. I really like the quality of the food, we both had the grilled salmon. The Cafe there called Made by the Hill is fine, but I like to get coffe and take it down to the bar area where the seating is sooo much nicer.
Parking is a pain being packed full even by 6pm on a Wednesday. All in all a good experience

We had the opportunity to attend the launch of ‘Made By The Hill’ an six million dollar social space which has been renovated in the Rooty Hill RSL, designed by TomMarkHenry (who were those responsible for Darlo Country Club).

We don’t always have the chance to venture out west, and we were glad we did. Enter into the RSL, this large new space has a range of different areas to make yourselves comfortable, booths, dining tables, bar tables and casual areas, to lounge about, this certainly is a great space to mingle and enjoy a few drinks. The club looks all nice for no reason. It is so big for no reason. Some staff are friendly but the place in general is VERY BAD. If you like me and like to eat and then have a little slap after you eat I would NOT recommend this place. I would rather prefer or reccomend everyone to St Marys Leagues club which is alot better. At Rooty Hill RSL you have to over pay for Pub food, while your playing pokies you do not get complimentary drinks and you over pay for everything. Not to mention the pokies DO NOT PAY. At St Marys Leagues you can eat at an all you can eat Buffett for $22 and get complimentary drinks while playing the pokies. Also I understand by playing the pokies the chances of winning are 1 in a million but a St Marys Leagues your more than likely to have better chances then Rooty Hill RSL.. ROOTY HILL RSL IS A MONEY PIT WITH EVERYTHING.

never coming here again... first time ordering a drink my parents took me here... i looked at the staff in the bar in the pokie area on the other side of the southern Terrence,i looked at a drink and was like how much are they and they told me and i was like oh ok..while they were taking my money and putting the order through i was just said like ive never ordered a drink before, first time. they just like looked at me and said yeah i dont want to hear it, and just walked away from me. been crying over how rude people were since i got home.my parents gesture was wrecked.
