This swim school is great for kids that are struggling to learn at other centres. I know a couple that spent years at weekly classes elsewhere and still couldnt swim half a pool. Within a couple months they were stroke corrected and doing well with this centre. My kids have swam here on/off for the last couple years and do well. The teachers are lovely and yes Rose is more direct that other centre managers but she also has more flexibility in her classes (pay by the month) than other centres.
This is one swim "school" we urge you to stay away from. Rose is not a member of the Australian Swim Schools Association and we can see why. At Rose's "school" there are only made up rules about attendance and fees and no recognition of children's achievement unless they attend a full fiscal year (forget it if you do a calendar year, or you miss a month even if you've paid for it, your child will miss out). Rose does not like anybody questioning her methods and will attempt intimidation and threating behaviour to keep parents in line. No one dares question her, if they do, they get booted. It's despicable behaviour, no children or parents should be witness to this.
