Rose Bay Licensed Post Office

The worst postal experience as a customer I have ever received.
Mailing a parcel from Melbourne that was a gift to a person who owns a PO BOX should be the most secure way of mailing a parcel. However, when the staff give your parcel to another customer, and they don't check their red card, nor do they check the name, that is incompetent. Then blaming the customer for their screw up and having an abusive argument with the customer suggesting they had already picked up their own parcel. Or that someone else who used to own the PO BOX took it. Taking no responsibility and lying about their negligence of someones property. Either someone stole the item from my PO BOX or just gave the parcel away. Anyway a $200 gift that was for the owner of the PO BOX went to a complete stranger or thief. I have been using this PO for 2.5 years and they have always been SUPER courteous, friendly and helpful. It's my preferred PO for speed and efficiency as well.

This is by far the most frustrating post office I've ever been to in Australia. I have never met ruder staff, who make everything the customer's problem. When people have genuine complaints they're met with a shouted "You go away" from the post office staff, and I've seen them yelling at customers (and myself) for no discernible reason.

I've seen customers break down in tears through frustration of dealing with the rude and arrogant staff.

My advice is if you can avoid this post office in any way, do so.
