Things started off bad as we had to wait for 20mins for reception to arrive, when they did - they were friendly enough and had the room ready before 2pm.

Now perhaps there was an issue with what was written on the booking site and with what I booked? But free extra bedding for my 4 year was not forth coming and I was charged an additional $21 per night for a cot for my baby. This is the first time I have ever had to pay for a cot anywhere in Australia, Asia or Europe.

Otherwise the room was fine, with large tv, kitchen and clean bathroom. Breakfast was a few slices of bread, tiny cereal packet, two juices and some spreads - extremely disappointing. Really shouldn't say "includes breakfast"

This is a heritage hotel, so has an older feel to it, from the minute you step through the door. The lifts are original and gorgeous and the suite I stayed in was huge.
The one bedroom apartment was fully operational for a much longer stay than one night with a laundry and kitchenette, dining room and lounge area.
Well priced, would be back when staying in the CBD again.
Walking distance to everywhere in town and a quick wander from Central.
Main drawbacks: no swimming pool (but a spa on the roof) and no in-house dining (tho you can self-cater.)
