My sisters and I were beneficiaries to my Uncle's Will, he died in February 2022.
I waited 8 months and never heard from Morris so decided to initiate contact. My sister was more patient than I, and after not hearing from Roy Morris for 10 months decided to initiate contact.
Felt like we were just being ignored.
My Uncle's Will couldn't be more straight forward.
No Application for Probate required, two bank accounts, some bills to pay, some shares to sell and the usual taxation clearance. Believe it or not, Estate wasn't settled until the following December 2022 - 10 months after his death.
Confidentiality not respected and correspondence not responded to in a timely manner. So not hard to see why it took 10 months to settle the Estate.
Finally, when the Estate was finally settled the names on the Distribution Statement were incorrect.
Significant improvement required Morris.
