Can not recommend the hotel. Last month we went there for a coffee, and the waitress asked, 'Would youse like to order?', and the coffees we had came out tepid. Then we went yesterday (10/03/2013) to have a coffee on their balcony, and the barman said when I asked for a coffee, 'I dont do coffee'. I asked if any one else can make a coffee, replied, 'Yes, the cafes in Hesse Street do'. With that, I walked out, and will not ever go back. If that is the atitude of the staff there, then they dont deserve anyones business at all.
Forget it. Nine of us were crammed into six places even though we booked several hours ahead. Three small tables were placed together for us with one being an inch lower and very unstable in that we had to hold onto our glasses so they wouldn't tip over. This was bought to the attention of staff who were very rude and didn't want to fix. The nine of us were given one menu between all of us. We asked for a kids menu and was given a small scrap of paper with a menu typed on it. Very unprofessional even for a pub. We had a drink and left. We told a number of people of our experience and no one surprised.
