A friend of mine once said that there was an over 28s club here, but upon visiting here (for the third time) I am still yet to find it. Maybe he was telling me a porky pie, but then I sometimes wonder what he would achieve out of that (other than the pleasure of sending me for an hour long bus ride for no reason whatsoever). Mind you, while I haven't been to an over 28's club, I have walked passed one, and I must admit that the patronage was not the type of people I would feel comfortable around.
As for this pub, well, it has everything that you would expect from a suburban Woolworths pub. It has pokie machines, a restaurant, and a sports bar, as well as a half decent beer garden (something that I have not come to expect from some of these pubs because they seem to prefer people to be inside playing pokies than outside smoking cigarettes). This is a good-value place, although I seem to recall the food used to be much better. They do have fantastic live music, including their great regular band which I think is called Radio Chaos. The venue could do with some renovation and some of the patrons watching the football could be a teensy bit uncouth at times but all up a good night.
