I recently had my 30th birthday party in the Beer Garden here.
FANTASTIC, AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL. There aren't enough words to describe the place, the food & the staff.
I had guests from Frankston, Yea, Knox, Mooroolbark and everyone commented on how beautiful the beer garden was as well as how lovely the staff are.
I hardly needed decorations as the set up is just beautiful with some fairy lights, the blinds to keep out the cold was great and the ease of using my phone for music just made the whole night run so smoothly. ...read more

I'm going to have to say that I wasn't all that thrilled with this place. Maybe it has something to do with it now being the only pub in Whittlesea, but I have to say that the vibe really wasn't all that great. Okay, they do have a nice beer garden out the side, as well as a bistro (and I couldn't see any pokie machines, but then again I wasn't looking hard enough – actually I wasn't looking at all). The sports bar though gets pretty crowded, probably because the pub on the other side of Whittlesea has since closed its doors. While Whittlesea is a nice place to visit, I don't think I'll be coming back to this pub anytime soon (oh, and the bartender was pretty blunt as well, which sort of put me off). Actually, the one good thing about the pub was the beer garden – it is actually a really nice spot to have a quiet drink, but other than that it's not a place I'm hurrying back to.

Just had lunch with a group of friends. Friendly and very quick service. The meals are reasonably priced and are enormous. Recommend this place to anyone.

Local meeting place, comfortable and has all we need, with the play ground newly installed it makes it easy to go out for lunch or dinner with kids. TAB for a occasional bet. The meals are nice, not always consistant though, but friendly atmosphere.
