A Parramatta classic, the Royal Oak Hotel is a favourite amongst the locals. With traditional settings, the beers are local and there is an impressive list of Australian wines on offer. Recently a bistro has been put into the Pub with a wide range of food to choose from.

Well, this is another of those pubs that I basically wish to forget about. It certainly was not my scene. Okay, they had a nice beer garden, but that was basically about it. It is one of those pretty ordinary pubs that you generally only find locals visiting, and the ambience certainly wasn't all that great. Okay, I didn't hate it, but I wasn't really all that impressed with it as well. Namely you have the sports bar, a small restaurant, a VIP Room, and of course the beer garden out the back (which was more like a garden than those smokers cages you tend to find about the place). It doesn't really seem to appear of many radars and I only discovered it while passing by bus.
The staff are so incredibly friendly! The bistro food has increased in style, taste and varies with customer feedback which is great! They have raffles every thursday and friday so we bring our friends down for a few beers during that.
State of origin, the manager put a great deal on beers until the first point!
