Been there quite often to the chadstone outlet. Key good points
- serve halal meat
- quite a variety of options
- can get a better deal of takeaway box if closer to closing time
- taste is not consistent! Thats a big drawback. Lasagne, pastas can be good kne day and bery aberage the next
Great location for a caf style restaurant to catch up with friends. Great menu which looks to be standard, not hard to make as similar to other caf restaurants. My only order was a fresh bowl of fried chips, simple, quick and easy to share while catching up with friends and feeling peckish. 20mins, 30mins, 40mins. Had I got carried away with catching up with my friends I would probably never see the bowl of chips. Come 40 mins I went up to the registers to follow-up on my simple order. The same waiter that took my order looked surprised as though I hadnt made an order. I explained I ordered a bowl of chips 45mins ago. The waiter was looking around the ordering slips, looking puzzled and said to me sure it shouldnt be much longer. Within 10 mins a bowl of hot chips came out. Super-hot and crunchy, oily. I had the La Trip pasta which lacked a lot of flavour. I had to add a lot of salt to get a little flavour out of it which was rather disappointing. And the minestrone soup was too strong in tomato taste and honestly, minestrone from a can would of tasted much better. Overall a disappointing experience and wouldn't go back neither would I recommend it.
Have eaten at Rozzis twice with my friend in the last few months. Prices are reasonable, lunch would set you back from $12-16 for pasta dish however if this was ordered for dinner the same dish will set you back almost double price. On each occasions it has been really great. Was recommended the Linguini Mare seafood pasta with scallop, prawns and chilli. Recently I thought Ill take my mother and brother to the caf. On this occasion, ordered the Macaroni soup for my mum, I opted for my all-time favorite Mare Linguini and my brother chose the farfalle la trip which consisted of mushrooms and feta. I have to admit my Mare was not at all impressive; Im not sure what went wrong. It tasted different; they were not as generous with the seafood on this occasion. While the La trip it was quite bland. Macaroni soup was very acidy in taste, there was so much tomato taste in it that the amount of salt couldnt even mellow down the taste. Im generally quite conservative ...read more
