The members, each having managed successful function bands over the past 10-15 years, have also worked together at various times over the years. Through these occasions, they realised that between them, they had that special 'on-stage chemistry' that just couldn't be ignored. They also found that they shared a common work ethic and commitment to providing the highest level of all-round service, in other words... we believe in great musicianship, great vocals, great entertainment, attention to detail, and the extra 'little touches'.
Between them, the band members have won 11 Australian Bridal Industry Awards, in the fields of: "Live Entertainment", "Master of Ceremonies" and "Ceremony Music" and have been either Winners or Runner up in at least one of these categories for 10 years running. The Australian Bridal Industry Awards (ABIA's) are voted exclusively by Brides & Grooms!
The band offers an exceptional level of musicianship, outstanding male & female vocals, duets and harmonies, a Huge repertoire that covers all music styles to suit all ages and tastes, and those little special touches like punctuality, professionalism, attention to detail and the commitment to working together with you, to ensure your function is the successful event that you want it to be.
We arrive at 2 hours prior to function start time, to ensure that everything is set-up sound-checked and ready to go by the time your guests start to arrive.

These guys did an amazing job performing at our Wedding recently. Debbi's singing at the Church was just stunning and so many of our guests thought we had a CD playing until they looked up and saw her there. The band was fantastic and had the dance floor full all night, they really created the fun party vibe we wanted! We got so many comments from people on the night and are still hearing about it from friends!. Pat did an absolutely fantastic job as MC. It wasn't easy being an Inter-racial Italian and Vietnamese Wedding, but Pat and the band took it all in their stride and controlled all the events of the night so everything ran seamlessly. We are absolutely thrilled to have chosen Rumours as the Entertainment for our Wedding.
Thank you Rumours Band for making our Wedding extra fantastic. Your music choices were great and you had us and our guests dancing for most of the night. We had so many friends and family members asking how we found you, everyone was talking about how great you were. OMG had the most amazing night of my life - turning the big 40 with an 80s theme with the most amazing band ever - Rumours Band they certainly know how to keep everybody on the dance floor. You know that feeling when you wake up the next day & your feet are sore - all for a great cause!!! I can't thank you guys enough for making my 40th the best night of my life. I still have my friends talking about how you guys keep the dance floor full & that they did not want the music to stop! Its great to see you all have so much passion with what you do - it goes to show when people love what they do it shows! Thanks again guys - you rock!!!!
