I had passed here a few times and took the opportunity to visit for breakfast.
The service is very friendly and paid and ordered at the counter. Number given and table selected (I chose the high shared table, not so good if you need a seat back or don't have good core strength as can get uncomfortable if perched there too long). Went with the Potato Roesti (Slow Roasted Tomato, Poached Eggs, Bacon). The roesti and bacon were nice and crispy. Eggs were only slightly overdone and not as oozing as they could've been. The tomatoes were delicious and nicely roasted. Mocha was not bad.
I love this place.. We went on a Sunday morning and were impressed by its low-key urban vibe, and different, but not intimidating menu. We tried a pork roll, with a very lightly battered fried pork, with amazing slaw and apple relish. We also tried the basic bacon and eggs. They were so pared back, and delicious. The amazing eggs spoke for themselves.Just what I was after. A new fave.
