Runcorn Tavern

The food here is beautiful and the staff are great. We love the salad bar option with meals. Desserts are ao very good.

Saturday night dinner was very good we both ordered the crispy skin salmon which was cooked to perfection...salad bar was great except for the prawn crackers being soft ...we will be back !

I realise I have posted a review here 3 yrs ago but I have been going back to Runcorn Tavern quite a bit in recent months. The lunch menu I think is quite good and reasonably priced at $15 a meal and this includes the salad and hot food buffet. Parking is easy and service is generally good. You will have to wait a bit though as they are often busy. I would actually recommend this to others for a simple tavern style meal that is reasonable value.

My family has been here a few times. I must admit I am not that impressed with it. I thought the food was a bit expensive and very average. The Buffet was also very average. I would not choose to go here again.

If you like your steak anything other than medium rare then don't order steak from the menu. I certainly will not eat there again, 4 bad meals in 2 years, enough is enough.
