What probably sets this place apart is the really friendly helpful happy smiling staff. With a group of 15 there were plenty of questions and special requests and nothing was too hard for them - they were happy to describe dishes, make recommendations, and generally be helpful (even taking a multitude of photos for us!).
The food was tasty although if I'm honest a few of us thought it lacked some 'punch' of flavour - even after I got some sambal which was tasty and home-made I still thought my Pad Thai needed a bit more substance. The serving size, however, was huge and I certainly wasn't hungry at the end and the prices were astounding value - especially given that it's in Adelaide's East End which isn't known for value.
All in all I'd certainly be more than happy to take a friend or a group here, there's plenty more on the menu that I really wanted to try and I could only eat 0ne meal!!
Still great. We needed a quick meal before a Fringe show and based on previous experience I knew we would be safe with Rundle Spices. As usual our orders were taken efficiently, the food came out rapidly, drinks were taken care of quickly and everything was tasty. Great service. Definitely add this to your Rundle Street eats. The salt and pepper bean curd is a must have!

I shouldn't have worried, as usual the food came out rapidly, drinks were taken care of quickly and everything was tasty (although the size of the duck curry seems to have shrunk -but hopefully that was a one off Fringe-related deviation...)
It was a busy Friday night but our orders were taken efficiently, water and wine glasses were topped up and plates were cleared promptly. The food was delicious - the kway teow noodles and duck curry were outstanding. Definitely add this to your Friday night Rundle Street eats.
