The Rupanyup Men's Shed Inc is working to be able to offer the following services:

* An activity centre where people meet for a cup of tea/coffee and a chat and can be involved in a variety of worthwhile community based health activities.

* A place to receive and share information about local community activities/groups/services of interest to newcomers.

* A variety of programs and life skills workshops that are individualised, relevant, flexible and appropriate to deliver positive outcomes for participants.

* Access to information from external health resources available through internet based computers and enhanced with a printer, scanner and other resources.

* Empowering people to create a sense of ownership of their own health and in belonging to our group, to lessen the effects of social or economic disadvantage.

To start some of these activities the Rupanyup Men�¢ï¿½ï¿½s Shed has formed a few groups that are working to deliver Men�¢ï¿½ï¿½s Health programs, Swimming, Walking and Dog Training, Photography and Internet & Computer activity programs for members.
