Rupert & The Fig

Absolutely great coffee, friendly and efficient service. A family vibe and not too expensive. Grea to visit before the movies as well.

I had once again come down to Brighton to see a movie at the Palace Cinemas and having some time to kill I decided to look for a place to grab a bite to eat. Since this place was right next to the cinemas I popped in here and I have to admit that I really, really liked this place. The staff were really friendly, and they also had some all day breakfast (which is a good thing I have to admit). I ended up grabbing the baked beans, which was nothing short of awesome. The coffee was pretty nice as well. Okay, it was a little crowded when I was here, but I still managed to find a nice table in the corner. It is certainly a place I would come to again (especially since I do find myself down Brighton way every so often).

Rupert and the Fig uses local organic produce and makes some delicious and healthy meals. I really enjoyed my breakfast and went back for lunch and had the field mushroom burger which was delicious! Reasonable prices and fantastic combinations make this a place to go back to. Their passion for food is obvious!

fairly good they make good hot chocolate that used to be 2.50 and is now 3.50 used to go there all the time but its a bit expensive now they are great otherwise
