Stayed with three family members at Rydges over the weekend. Upon entering we were greeted warmly and directed to reception where the lovely Sophie checked us in. Our room was beautiful, spotless and well appointed. We had city views which were spectacular! The location of Rydges was perfect for our purpose of taking in a show at The Lyric Theatre which is a 400m stroll down the road. The beds were sooooo comfortable and even though The Podium bar was in full swing when we came back to our room late Saturday night, but we could not hear a thing upstairs (9th floor).
The CBD bar downstairs is convenient, well presented with friendly staff. We ordered a plate to share, but having sampled other establishments close by during our stay, I would prefer to eat elsewhere when considering value for money.
