Stayed here during the week for a few nights leading into the weekend.
The staff were lovely, the continental breakfasts reminded me of my American road trip. As in abundant, although I'm still confused how everywhere around the world manages to make eggs taste over-hydrated. It must be a hotel continental thing.
The room was lovely, clean and serviced.
We had a nice little get away without leaving the city.
Well we expected more for the name and the money it cost to stay. Although the accomadation was okay, the menu is so overpriced. Unless you have wads of cash dont eat or drink here. $20 for a steak sandwich, chips and salad, when the pub up the road cost $9.00 for the same deal and the food is fantastic. Check in a nightmare, waited more than 15 minutes to check in. The only thing this place has is the name Mirvac behind it. Hallway carpet dirty, trays of food left in hallways or lift area for several hours and if you want privacy in the comfort of your room, make sure you keep all things to a whisper..In the hallway you hear EVERYTHING from all rooms.Wouldnt stay again. The pool about the only thing we liked, oh and the Toiletries supplied were nice also. Very overpriced for the standard of accomadation & food.
really enjoyed my stay here - room was modern and spacious. Temperature of the hotel was good too - i find in winter many hotels have air conditioning really hot. Massive breakfast with heaps of selection and good quality food. Didnt have time to use the gym but will do next time. Good service, recommend to anyone
