Rye Wine Lounge is a new addition to the busy Rye beachside strip on Point Nepean Road & a welcome one. Serving a vast tapas menu accompanied by a long wine list (it is a wine lounge after all), the Rye Wine Lounge is a nice & easy spot to while away the time on a lazy Sunday afternoon...or any day or night for that matter. We only got two of the basic & small tapas but they were packed with flavour & delivered with a friendly & attentive attitude. The sangria was a standout & made choosing easier - remember the wine list is long. Looking more like an art gallery with huge stocks of wine, when we visited business was slow. But if the entire menu is as good as our samples & if they can withstand the seasonal downturn, I know I'll be back...hopefully more punters pop in as well.
