I was involved in a car crash with my Toyota Supra and it was towed to SAS smash repairs on 06/02/19 for them to assess the damage and get it quoted for the insurance claim. A couple of days later I called them to follow up on everything and talked to Ewan, and he told me that they had pulled the car apart and they found that there was structural damage and rust which was pre-existing and could compromise the claim. He also told me that they aren't able to source the parts needed for my car because it has an aftermarket bodykit, and are unable to source parts from private sellers (to cover their butt). The only option was for them to provide a quote and for me to recieve a cash settlement of the amount and source my own parts and labour with that money. SAS finally quoted me $2,716.17 for the repairs and paint, no labour.
