S & S Hairdressing Garden City

Once again a big Thankyou to Jess for always making me feel special after each visit. She's an amazing hairdresser & person. Her smile & interpersonal skills are always shown no matter what I'm having done & no matter how busy she is. Her interaction & positivity with the team at Garden City is always consistent. What an asset to the S&S hair salon team. I've already followed her to Garden City branch & will continue to do so. Look after this talented hairdresser & lady as she's an inspiration to both your staff & your clients. Jess you're an exceptional hairdresser & person & watching you mentor the apprentices is always inspiring. Thank you Jess.

S + S Hair and Beauty at Garden City are great! The prices are soo cheap compared to other places with great service. I like Katie the manager, with her outstanding customer service. She is very friendly and does a great job. I would defiantly recommend this salon to everyone.

I could not stress enough, DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT HERE!!
My partner and I went in for a haircut yesterday. He left very unsatisfied with his so called trim and told me I should have listened to him when he told me they are over booked and we should leave, I reassured him that it would be fine, they know what they are doing.
Oh how wrong was I!! I had a cut and a bit of a thin out as my hair is very thick. The girl was nice we had a nice convo in between her running around to the front counter and telling other girls what they should be doing with clients who are all waiting in their seats not really being attended too, still at this point I thought it was okay. Please, if you're considering going to this hair 'salon' (and I use that word lightly) take a deep breath, reconsider and go to a proper hair studio with talented professionals.

The customer service left a lot to be desired, the girl (child) that cut my hair was sullen, could not seem to form words properly, rough and frankly seemed like she had much better things to do.

I went in for a trim and came away missing more than half my hair.
I left with damp, straggly, uneven hair- a mortal sin in the hairdressing world- your client should never leave with hair that looks worse than when they arrived.

It was one of the worst experiences I've had at a hairdressers and I would strongly warn people off this salon. But the fault is mostly mine for being cheap and assuming that for $30 I could get a decent trim. My lesson is learnt, I will be paying top dollar from now on.
