Sabroso Bar & Cafe

The place was nothing special. If you expect a fancy dinner, this is not your place. The place is cramped and you may overhear the whole conversation from the next table unintentionally. I don't like that but the cafe is the best choice in the area for a nice brunch.

Seddon is a little white enclave, a little nodule attached to the multicultural raffishness of Footscray. But you will never see these people in Footscray, except sometimes at the Master restaurant on their birthdays, not even in Brunswick St or Sydney Rd, the extent of their adventurousness is neighboring Yarraville. Seddon is all singles, mostly, the sort of people who will hook up with someone in a whine bar or coffee snot, hang with them for a couple of years then marry and move out whoop whoop to Borogrove or Panfryeia where they can fuck in peace and have kids, they have a car so they don't ever have to deal with the Bogles at the railway station, they do all their shopping at Fountain Gate or some other Godawful hole, then when the kids have flown away to inner Melbourne despising their parent's values they will move to Scone, Bendigo, somewhere like that, grow flowers in the garding and gather in caffee clashes and complain how their children ...read more

has good food that is not too pricey; can be noisy when full due to the polished concrete floors.
