Lacks leadership, appalling behaviour behind closed doors, distortion of truth and cover ups that would horrify parents. The number of girls leaving and the decrease in senior enrolments tells the story. A very sad, unsafe and misguided school. I would implore prospective parents to ask current / former parents for their honest opinions before spending a cent or trusting the care of their daughter to this nightmare of an institution. I would not recommend to my worst enemy.
I couldn't agree more with the review in regards to build, build, build. This school does not care about student wellbeing or positive mindset. Fix your old buildings which are ready to fall down before you put up new ones. My daughter got nothing positive out of this school and am so glad we did not proceed to the senior school. I too regret not leaving sooner. This school broke my childs spirit. Yes bullies are praised and the rest of us are left in shock and awe. The strong are rewarded and the weak are left to fall through the cracks. Parents form cliques and the rest...... just fade into obscurity. No community spirit whatsoever. Don't make the mistakes I made there are better schools out there, public and private.
My daughter attended SAC from Prep to Year 7. A number of observations became clear as the years progressed. SAC is a business 1st and a school 2nd. During COVID the school regularly sent requests to current and former parents, me of course being the latter requesting donations for students whose parents circumstances had changed and could no longer afford the fees but then would brag on their social media pages about the new STEAM building and how it was progressing. A building costing millions and constantly asking parents to donate to help the less fortunate, it just leaves ...read more
Our daughter has been attending this school since prep and we couldn’t be happier.
It is such a lovely caring environment and the teachers all genuinely care about the girls. It has a lovely community feel, and we feel very much part of the Sac family! W
I really couldn’t be happier with the school!
After being to many various schools, from co-ed to posh private schools, I can gladly say that Sacre Coeur is one of the best schools I have attended. The environment is inclusive, welcoming and friendly, and the older year levels never hesitate to help out the younger ones. The staff are so open and willing to talk about any issues students ask, and I have had the pleasure of being taught by some of the best teachers in the state. Truly, Sacre Coeur hosts some of the nicest girls I have ever met, and each day I spend there is one that inspires and exposes me to amazing people and a wonderful community
