Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre

Initially this organisation was helpful, but then left my family member hanging in limbo. They seized communication and responsibility with my family member; start something finish something wasn’t their moto in our experience. My family member was not alone, another woman in "the care" of this organisation then called my family member upset and stressed to explain that she too was left in limbo and had no communication. They took no accountability in our experience, your best might be to go direct to your closest social worker/care group from our experience. I hope this was just a rare event and that other people have had a more positive experience, be warned and don’t put all your eggs in the one basket with this group.
