Saffron is settled close to the sights of Canberra?s National Gallery and Library and specialises in East Mediterranean cuisine. Enjoy from the menu a range of entrees and mains including Lamb Halabi, Ton, marinated and grilled Yellow-fin tuna, prime eye fillet of Biftek and Tawook, marinated, skewered and grilled chicken fillets. The extensive wine list includes Australian and New Zealand imports and the restaurant is always open for larger functions, offering catering with canapés. Lunch is served everyday till 2pm and dinner begins from 5:30pm.

Saffron is a mix of a contemporary chic setting with good service and home style food with a more casual approach to plating up. With middle eastern food becoming more fashionable, Saffron offers a nice elevation for what can be easily regarded as street food and home basics.
The staff were very nice too.
