Nice comfortable rooms with the inevitable "massage decor " music and bling.
I booked a remedial massage, but was not required to fill out a history, with I found unusual.
After indicating the areas I wanted worked on,The therapist Naomi.proceeded to give her uninformed opinion on what was wrong with me,and what I needed to do to address it,including an unsolicited referral to a chiropractor.
There was no use trying to explain anything to her,and the fact that I am also qualified as a Massage therapist made absolutely no difference.
The rant continued well into the massage which was extremely irritating. She finally managed to get around to the areas I needed work on,but by that time I just wanted to bolt.
Part of being a good therapist is being intuitive and having the ability to listen.
I'm sure there are very good therapists at SahSin,but this wasn't a positive experience for me.
I've got mixed feelings about this place. One one occasion I had a lovely staff but a remedial massage that left me in more pain than I went in with. My second time I had a great massage but the staff had a very unfriendly bedside massage manner. In a situation where your customer is near naked it does help to e friendly and communicate. However I'm happy to give it one more go and see how I fare. I might be a winner on visit three as it does have a very good reputation locally.
