Yum! As a long term sushi addict, it is always a pleasure to eat at Sakura. The quality of the fish is excellent, which is good because it has to make up for the quite average service of wait staff. The venue is quite casual, which is nice (because I don't want to pay inflated prices for my meal because of 'fashinable' decor), but things can get a bit cramped (partcularly in the upper eating area). One of the better a la carte susshi restaurants in Brissie (and much better priced than Sono)
Great fun restaurant to go to with a group of friends.
Decor is casual and has an ikea-like feel to me with folding chairs. There is a private function room I'm yet to try. Parking is a bit of a hassle unfortunately.
Food is good but not as fantastic as the Sakura Sushi in Coorparoo. If you live in the area or have a group of friends and just want a fun night out this is a great place to go.
