Extremely disappointed. Do not buy from this jeweler. My partner bought me a ring from here Friday just past, that night I noticed a stone missing from the ring. My partner took the ring back to which they refused to repair it. I find it absolutely appalling how unprofessional this business is and the disgraceful quality of jewelery they produce.
Bought a watch for $ 200.00 on 14 Dec 2013.
Day 1- a pin fell out within 10 minutes from i leave the chermside store with watch on, didn't take it much seriously (regret now), went back to the store and got it replaced.
Day 22 - went back to the store with another pin fell out, asked for replacement or refund- both rejected instead offered to send to the manufacturer- was told told would take between 4-6 weeks due to the holiday period - very unhappy but convinced myself to wait for few more weeks
Day 72 - called the store - was advised the watch dispatched from the factory - on its way to store - will give a call ...read more
I would not recommend purchasing anything from these Jewellers! My husband went to Chermside Saleras Jewellmasters to by my birthday present the other day, he picked out a ring for me but when opening I told him I already had something very similar so we thought we would take it back and get a refund. We decided to take it back to Northlakes as this was closer to home, firstly the staff that served us as soon as we said we wanted a refund was rude and abrupt and told us we could not get a refund only an exchange, I looked around the store and there was nothing of interest to me so I asked questions as to why they didnt refund (the ring was never warn, bought 2 days prior and we had the receipt). I had never heard this at a jeweller before and when we said that this was ridicules and we wanted to see the store policy so staff went out the back, (the sign was not clearly displayed and not on the receipt) got a sign and showed it to us, so we left to think about our ...read more
Where in the middle of paying off an engagement ring at the moment if you would like we could pay whats left on your credit?
Bought a $3500 engagement ring from Salera's which supposedly came with a lifetime warranty. When getting the ring cleaned by another jeweller prior to the wedding, was advised the ring needed to be re-tipped as the claws hadn't been set up high enough around the diamond when the ring was made. Took the ring back to Salera's and was told problem was due to general wear and tear and it would cost $115 to fix. The ring had only been worn for 8 months and had been taken off before washing dishes, doing housework, playing sport and even going to bed each night so very hard to believe the problem was due to general wear and tear. Was told if ring was fixed elsewhere that the warranty would be void after that date - the same 'lifetime' warranty which apparently didn't cover a problem which had occurred in the first 8 months of owning the ring. An engagement ring is a big financial and emotional investment so if you want to feel secure in your purchase in ...read more
