Salisbury Mower Centre

Was discussted with the person that answered the phone at 4.55pm yesterday the 23rd Oct. We were wanting to enquire about a $4,500 product and was told very rudely to make it quick as he was closing up. Needless to say that we will be spending our money elswhere!!!!

Salisbury Mower Centre sell faulty product and refuse to fix, then avoid warrantee because you take their advice by fitting parts they supplied. Megaphone diplomacy with warrantee and only got a bill for work not authorised. They are clever enough to con consumer affairs AND Rover brand is no better and backed their rotten attitude to the hilt.
Take my advice- avoid like the plague.

I broke a golden rule of not using the people I purchased from to do my service but it showed me I was right not to purchase from them. My Atom lawn edger, not cheap broke down 2 months after purchase and the Atom guys said I could take it to any service agent, closest to me was Salisbury Mower Service. I was greeted with a girl who kept calling me 'mate' like we were in the country somewhere, looked at the receipt and asked why I did not want to take it to Trinity Mowers in Magill, my gut feel was, turn and go but thought, I will persist and try them anyway. Was also told there were 100 jobs ahead on mine, I found that hard to swallow as both times visited, no customers, dead as a door nail. 4 Days later I rang and asked for an update, got my 'mate' again who passed me to a mechanic who said had not looked at it and would do so in a week's time then order the parts, I said don't worry I'll come pick up the edger, heard this slam of the phone - should have expected ...read more

No rating granted - terrible customer service from the owner of "30 years experience" who has learnt nothing at all during that time- we endured what can only be described as a terrible experience - my heart goes out to his wonderful mechanics who must have to put up with this horrible man as their boss day in day out.
