Salty Dog Bistro

Following on from my previous review of this bistro I took some out of town guests to the Salty Dog for dinner on Saturday night. We walked in and seated ourselves at our table of 8. After ten minutes of sitting I had to ask for some menus. When the menus arrived I was so embarrassed in front of my guests as they were just A4 pieces of paper that were ripped and crumpled and certainly NOT something that ANY conscious business person would hand to his/her patrons.

Tried here when they first opened, being local to the club. Menu had not changed much from previous management..was wondering if they had the same chef and just changed the decore and name? I had the chicken snitzel with chips and salad which was very large and swimming in gravy. Pretty basic meal but was not impressed at all. I went again for lunch last week and had the calamari. It was very nice and light. The day was perfect and the company was great. I'm back again tonight to see how the dinner menu fares. Will let you know how it goes.
