Sanctuary Hotel

This place is always buzzing and has a great location near Chinatown and Haymarket. We came here for our hit of bistro food and really enjoyed ourselves with the classic steak and mash and chicken schnitzel. Their steak wasn't dry and the mash was very nice and creamy! The portion of the schnitzel was also pretty big! There might be a wait on food as it does get busy in the dinner time but we didn't have to wait an extended period.

great for friday night drinks :) could have better music

To be honest I think there are better places to go for an afterword drink... I've visited a number of times because it was just across the road from my old office. On the plus side, we always got a nice big bar table and the music is not too loud for conversation.

It has excellent beef in lunch time and has a big area for functions and parties. My friends ordered seafood and chicken schnitzel, pretty yummy. Strongly recommended from Mon to Thursday as it gets lunch special. Worth a try.
