Sandbar Cafe Kiosk

Was actually pleasantly surprised with Sandbar having booked last minute for Mothers Day. The service was friendly, prompt and gave the kids at the table colouring and pencils which was a lovely touch. Food was okay and had plenty of options and all day breakfasts. I enjoyed the pulled pork baguette, fries and a thickshake (which was amazing!). I would recommend this place if you are looking for good food in Caloundra.

Tried the kiosk for the first time tonight and it was amazing.
The fish was massive and was in a lovely crunchy crumb. The burger was lovely and fresh in a nice bun with nice leaes and the caramelised onion addition to the burger is a must. Upgrade to beer battered fries is definitely worthwhile and aoili was tangy and delicious. A brilliant take on modern fish and chips, the best in Caloundra so far. We went there for a family birthday dinner and were looking forward to it as the kiosk food is always delicious. We were not disappointed with the quality or the price of the food, it was great! The service on the other hand, very disappointing.

Our booking was for a table of 10 at 6pm on at Saturday night. There was only one other table of 2 there when we had arrived, who had already ordered. The wait staff came to take our drink order and when I asked for water, staff turned around and pointed to where it was and told me to get it myself. Absolutely Fantastic! Great Risotto cooked perfectly. Went there for dinner with my partner and 2 year old son, and they both enjoyed their meal also. Service was Friendly and Efficient. Dessert was gorgeous. Great atmosphere and will definitely dine there regularly.

Very disappointed in our meals, ordered the op rib eye steak medium done, we both ended up with a VERY bloody steak, the whole meal was not very nice at all.
We also ordered the pork belly as an entree and that was quite nice.
The staff were friendly and sorted out the problem which was much appreciated.
But not sure if I would try there again though.
