Sandgate Auto Electrics G+ Air Conditioning

Had the opportunity to have dealings with his company 3 times in the last month on 3 different faults and have been really surprised with the help I have had from the team that is employed.

Would recommend them very highly on auto electrics, mechanical and caravan repairs

Took my Toyota 4runner here to get the aircon converted to the new gas system. About a year later the aircon stopped working so I took it back to these guys as I thought they'd done an ok job first time round. Was told now I had all sorts of leaks in the system and needed a new compressor and condenser and was quoted upwards of $1600 to fix. I thought to myself ok it's an old car it probably is going to start having these sorts of issues, but thought I'd check with another mechanic I've used in the past. Other mechanic told me there was an o-ring missing and some other fittings should have been updated when conversion was done. They fixed these and re gassed the system and now it's all working fine for the grand total of $300. Either these guys are incompetent, either way not very good.

Excellent friendly service, competitive price. I called in to get a second hand car stereo installed, and was able to bring the car straight to shop on the same day. It cost $85, and while I had enquired with JB Hi-Fi who could do the same installation for $80 I decided to go with the local business instead. Very impressed with the results, car stereo is working excellently. Will definitely return! Thanks!
