Sandgate Hawks Sporting Club

We went here because we had bought an online voucher. We didn't easy the fine print so didn't realise that we had to print off the voucher, as this is the first time we have had to present a hard copy. We buy online vouchers all the time. Anyway, we were told that we had to bring the printout...... And book. We looked around the restaurant and noticed there were 2 tables with people sitting there. So not quite sure why we would have to book, but ok. Regardless of this, we decided that we were here, the prices were reasonable anyway, so we would have lunch there anyway and use our voucher another day.
I ordered med rare rump and my husband ordered salt and pepper calamari. Both meals were beautiful. Cooked perfectly. The only negative we have is that the chips had chicken salt on them.
