the young female manager for last year is a real go getter hope she does well out of business as its a hard place as so seasonal. coffees are not bad, a few cakes/slices/biscuits on offer. the usual ish and chips, hamburgers, etc take away fare. sat nights she has a massive pan of paella (such as seafood)for $7 a serve which is so good! live music some saturdays during summer too
cafe next door to the supermarket has take away meals of pizza, fish and chips, hamburgers, etc. i am not a fan of take away food so find them over priced for quality and taste, they do very good coffees and hot chocolates, manager and staff are always friendly, love the back courtyard addition - cosy, nicely landscaped and tranquil, nice cakes available,
this is the only store in sandy point for your grocery needs, other than a cafe next door. it is well stocked including deli items, freshly made bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, liqour, frozen items, fishing gear, petrol, etc. prices are a little higher, as you would expect for providing year round groceries in a fairly unpopulated area that is very seasonal with holiday makers and few residents. staff are helpful and friendly. open long hours in summer.
