Sapore By The Fountain

After a few years not visiting this restaurant, my friends and I finally returned to Sapore one Sunday night a few weeks back. It was no longer as busy as I expected them to be, although there were still quite a few number of guests there.

What made me picked this place was the open atmosphere of the restaurant, allowing the spacious indoor area to flow seamlessly to its outdoor spaces.

The serving sizes were not as generous as I remembered it, although the dishes were still quite good value for money. The food came quite quickly so that was very favourable. The pasta dishes were delicious as I expected them to be, and the risotto was definitely my favourite dish for the night.

The staffs were quite prompt and attentive. There is free parking on the building or the shopping centre next door, so driving there would be a breeze.

If this is Italian food, I want to move to Italy! Delicious, tasty, yum, and every other good word come to mind. We were part of a group & so ordered pasta/risotto platters, great choice if you're with friends too. I'd especially recommend the cream pasta dishes.
Price is fair for the area & serving sizes.

Only negative is the staff really were run off their feet, do made mistakes or missed some orders, dropped dishes. Also it was a bit squeezy & noisy, but it was Sat night and the food's so good that it's no surprise it was full.

This is our favourite Italian restaurant in Leicchardt. The restaurant is large so it is very easy to get a table. It caters for all kinds of guests, including families with strollers.

The price is very acceptable, considering the generous servings across all the menu. We ordered fettucini salmone and also grilled salmon and they were both amazing.

The staff are also friendly -- however, they might be a little bit busy so they might not be totally attentive.

For parking, we usually park at Norton St Plaza which is just next door -- there's even a shortcut from the carpark that goes straight to the restaurant!
