A lot of too-ing and fro-ing to agree on the price. Then one day after signing contract, they send out an email advertising a free water feature. Big promises of rectifying, and the sales rep "will look after you". Never heard a word from him, and the company kept their head in the sand. Said it would have affected the price, so in fact it wasn't free at all! The install was dismal, the site manager was nowhere to be seen, and couldn't even get him on the phone. If it wasn't for the friendly bob cat driver, who knew a mate to get through the limestone, I would have been out of pocket big time. Then they installed the piping the incorrect way, so the return flow was coming through the heating piping. Then they forgot to install the heating pipes through to the house. Then they didn't tighten up another pipe, so on the start up day, there was water bursting everywhere. No follow up, no calls, no anything once they have your signature. DO NOT USE SAPPHIRE POOLS!
They will have you sign a contract pay a deposit and then there attitude to you changes. Customer service is rude and not helpful at all. The allowances in the contract for digging is always under quoted. You are then forced into a hostage situation on the day of the dig paying over 1700 for an extra 5 hours or labour, when the 6 hours allowed in our contract cost 600. Our pump continuely looses prime. The machines they used have destroyed my beautiful lawn and even collapased a retaining wall in a part of the garden not relevant to the pool install. They have left my yard in such a mess I could cry. So $20000 for my yard to look like a dump and a pool that doesnt work. Dont touch this company.
This is so sad to hear Helen, we are having a similar rough ordeal. We still have items not being delivered, can't use the spa part of the pool, had to pay and organise a tip run, do our own chemicals, heater was put in a bad spot and just placed on a slab! They worked here and left the back gates wide open onto a main road with a tap running and on Halloween, thank god no kids walked in!! List keeps going for us, can't seem to get in touch with them, yet they email for wanting there final payment!!!
I am very happy with the customer service I have received throughout the process of
installing my new pool.Whenever I have called for assistance I have never been made to feel silly with all of my questions and I can only praise the staff at Sapphire Pools. I have since happily recommended Sapphire Pools to a friend at soccer.
