LOVE LOVE LOVE is what I have for Sassafras. I stopped coming here some time back, but now I am back to being a regular. The food, service and selection of local wines are all great. The view is as gorgeous as always, even if the trees from neighbouring properties have grown some over the years and do block the otherwise glorious views to the city. Can not recommend highly enough!
APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I have over the years shown wonderful patronage to Sassafras Creek Cafe, however I was very upset by my experience at the restaurant today. I was dining with 2 friends for lunch, and myself and one of my friends ordered the "Lamb Hotpot" (A$27) X 2. Upon the meal being delivered to our table we were disappointed to see that the "Hotpot" was actually just a bowl of the most unappetising meat cooked in a red wine. The bowl had a film of oil over the top and we were disappointed to see that there were no seasonal vegetables in the "Hotpot" as you would expect. We tasted the dish and found that it was inedible.
