Very upset after my appointment.
I booked an appointment with a Dr at the clinic,
When I arrived I gave my name and sat down, after 45mins I got up and asked if everything was ok, apparently my Dr wasn't in today and no one rang me to cancel my appointment or told me when I arrived.
I was put on the list of another Dr, half an hour later I asked again if everything was ok. Apparently I had been added to the very bottom of the list, I was assured I would be the next patient seen.
At least 15 more patients who arrived after me were called up, I had now been waiting 1 hour and 45mins, I went to the desk again and said that I was going to leave, the staff was not at all apologetic and I found their manner rude, staff finally called the Dr and asked if Dr could see me next.
After I got home I discovered that my name was incorrectly printed.
After attending primary medical Centre and always waiting an hour + even for the psychologist who had booked appointments sitting outside her door waiting and always receiving disgusting service there i tried this centre. WOW! what difference. The most polite well mannered woman served me on the phone and at the counter. I was 5 late for my appointment. My wait time and time with doctor was only 40 min max. It was the most thorough examination my daughter has ever had. Dr's there are nice and friendly like the receptionists. They use the preferred name for my daughter when calling her. I feel like a a patient. At primary medical your treated like a dirty human who's time is worth nothing but here your treated as a person needing a doctor.
In the past I had to wait an hour to see the doctor. Today I went in 5 minutes early and stated my name and doctor I was seeing. After waiting an hour (again!) I saw the doctor I wanted leave the practice to go home. I approached the staff and was very unhappy however the staff did not at any stage apologise or display contrition. Instead all I got was a sigh and being pressed on "did I check in with the staff when I arrived"? I complained to the practice manager who did apologise, but I shouldn't have had such terrible service to start with.
