I would really like to be able to write a better review. 5.5 out of !0 for overall value. The food is only mediocre overall. Service pleasant, publicans friendly. They have made effort with furnishings etc. I had scotch fillet $21, it was just ok, mid sized, a bit chewy, the mushroom sauce was a thin gravy with mushroom (canned?) slices in it. Chips were nice, salad was just fair/ mediocre, not completely dead, but not fresh. I wanted a good healthy feed. Would have liked more fresh vegs. Had glass of house cab sav., "Gossips" brand - mediocre.
Really hope food will improve in future, simple but fresh would do.
