Scopri - Italian for 'to discover'You may have known this restaurant previously as Arrivederci, an Italian stalwart dining destination for many a year, but new owners, a refurb and new name has lovers of fine Italian cuisine streaming through the doors eager to sample some of Salvatore Caccioppoli's (formerly of Svago) Italian Peninsula delights. Chestnut pappardelle with a wild boar ragout, veal shanks on creamy polenta and of course delectable desserts are just a glimpse of the menu. Owners Anthony Scutella and Alison Foley have had years of experience in the restaurant game and work the floor seamlessly providing the type of service expected from serious dining venues. A well chosen and inexpensive wine list complements the menu.

Scopri was recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointed. It is a lovely, cosy Italian restaurant with nice ambience. Wait staff were excellent and food very, very good. I noticed 'brains' on the specials board and wouldn't go past that, no matter what else was on the menu, and so glad I did. It was delicious. The service is professional and friendly. Would be coming back here.
