Winner of the Most Outstanding Restaurant in the Inner West award in 2008, Scorpios Taverna has a menu which combines traditional Greek flavours with contemporary Mediterranean hues to produce outstanding, flavour-full dishes. Open for dinner 6 nights a week, Scorpios Taverna is also available for group bookings, and has a private room available for up to 30 people. Scorpios Taverna also offers an extensive and thoughtful wine list, as well as occasional live music sessions. Set menus for large groups are available.

The friendliness of the staff set this place apart! They are really interested and engaged with their diners. Food is a little more pricey than a regular restaurant, which seems to be the way with all true Greek restaurants. I highly recommend the baklava and ice cream dessert. Amazing! I believe they also have some live music nights, which so far I have not had a chance to enjoy. I wonder if they let you smash the plates?
