Scott St Fish And Chip Shop

Really like the fish and chips here, I alternate between here and and other shop, if i go with consistency and good food then scott street wins hands down!! I love that they offer salads and different types of burgers as well they are also cheaper than some of the other shops in the area!!

This place has turned the corner. They were hit & miss, but as noted by others since the new ownership a lot more reliable.

Since it has been under NEW Managment about a year ago the food has been GREAT! They do a Texas Burger which is 2 patties 2 slices of cheese onions and BBQ sauce which is to die for. The other thing you must try are their Bacon & Cheese Potatoe Cakes. They put a slice of bacon and cheese with the potatoe before they batter it, then deep fry OMG !!!!! They also do a standard Fish & Menu but are always adding new stuff. The place is always buzy and the staff are friendly.

BEST STEAK SANDWICHES, LIGHTLY GOLDEN CHIPS!! ALWAYS BUSY!!

Would never get fish and chips from this shop again. Not only was the food cold by the time I got home (which is only around the corner) but fish and the burgers were still a bit raw. I could have taken them back but you know what they say, FIRST IMPRESSIONS COUNT, and the only impression I got from the shop was that they are rude towards their customers.
